Clinically proven efficacy

The efficacy of Melorun® on physical recovery has been evaluated in several populations of athletes, both casual who exercise moderately and professionals who train intensively.
Melorun® has also undergone numerous field tests since it is supported by a sports doctor specialising in micronutrition, who has accompanied many professional athletes.
The results of these studies have demonstrated multiple benefits on recovery, thanks to an action on both physical and mental fatigue, an improvement in several stress and inflammation biomarkers, and muscle and joint protection.

Oxidative stres, Inflammation or Magnesium level, the modification of these biological markers contributes to the beneficial effects perceived following Melorun® supplementation; on the improvement of physical fatigue, the positive action on joints and muscles and mental performance.

Decrease in physical fatigue and tension

Randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical study, 40 mg/day for 8 weeks, 38 casual sportspersons subjected to moderate intensity training1

After 8 weeks, subjects felt a significant improvement in their level of fatigue (muscle pain, physical fatigue, sleep disturbance) and physical well-being.

These benefits were been experienced by a group of professional athletes undergoing intense training. From the first month, subjects reported a decrease in physical tension and post-exercise fatigue, with increased improvement after two months.

Protection of muscle integrity

Mechanistic studies, as part of an eccentric exercise2,3,4

While intense exercise can cause muscle damage that is synonymous with weakened muscles, stiffness and increased risk of injury, Melorun® protects muscle fibres and prevents the onset of these lesions.
In particular, our studies have highlighted a reduction in fibrosis and creatine kinase, markers of muscle damage and typically associated with eccentric-type exercises.

Melorun® has also demonstrated its ability to boost the transition from rapid myosins, suitable for powerful but short contractions, to slow myosins known to allow more energy-efficient contractions.
Melorun® thus promotes adaptation to effort and resistance to fatigue for better sensations during training.

Protection of joint integrity

Mechanistic studies, as part of an eccentric exercise 3,4

During intense exertion, the strong and repeated pressure exerted on our joints can result in premature wear and discomfort. The use of Melorun® is associated with decreased inflammation and degradation of the joint matrix.

The results of these studies have been published in specialised journals.
